The Flu

 

I haven't been sick recently but  it was before coming to Canada, I  had the flu.  First,  I felt very weak and I got fever and  headache . then stomachache; I kept throwing up because I was dizzy. 

 I had a runny nose and sore throat.  I went to the hospital but, before that at home I drank some soup and  tea with ginger ,lemon, and  honey for my throat  . it was getting better but not too much .

 In the hospital the doctor was giving me a shot of antibiotics; I felt better after that . some remedies are good but they can cure you too much than medicine

Notting Hill

Notting Hill is great book , it's a comedy romantic story and talks about a famous, rich woman ( Anna) and a shy man who has a bookshop. Also, the main idea of this book is Love. I like this book because it shows us that love does not matter with money or social status (rich, famous).
My favourite character is Anna . She is a good actress ; she  has played her role very well.
I also like Honey ( williams'sister ) she is really funny with her bulging eyes. She is crazy like Spike who is look alike pile up

I didn't like this part when she argued with him because the paparazzi ; and then she went  away angry and without even calling for one year to him . I recommend this book for those who love this kind of story ;and for those who want to improve their English and vocabulary. There is a lot of words easy to understand.

Little Red Riding Hood

 When I was a child , I like to read this book . It talk about a little girl called Red Riding Hood. It was given this name because her mother had made her a very nice red hood . She was going to bring her grandmother a little pot of butter and a cake.

She meets the wolf on his way, he confided his plans and the course it will take. The wolf rushed to the grandmother.

The wicked wolf has taken the place of the grandmother and the girl prepares to eat in turn. A woodcutter then  heard screaming, he ran full speed toward the house,arrived, he saw the wolf and Little Red Riding Hood through the window. then, he rushed and a hatchet, killed the wolf. The woodcutter clutched her child against her heart, when they heard the knocks in the cupboard. He released the grand mother. Finally,everybody was happy

I loved  to read with my mother . About what I learned in this book,

-We must obey our parents

- Don't talk to strangers  people because it can be dangerous especially for children.

 - Don't take a path that you don't know
               The little red riding hood is a exciting , funny story and very popular in the world for kids .

my favourite transportation

The plane is my favourite transportation because I like this flying sensation . The good thing is that your travel is faster than others transportation. It's very comfortable; you can do some activities during the trip like watching  TV, eating or sleeping.

The bad thing is, planes can be very dangerous because

when there is a failure the aircraft can crash
and I'm afraid about that.

 My experience in a plane was when I went from  Morocco to Montreal  ; I was up in the airplane. In a few minutes later ,it was  the time of landing and suddenly it was very bumpy everybody was scared event me . The pilot didn't know how landed. The hostess of the air told us to put our seat belts she tried to make us feel good but it didn't work.

Finally,the situation was brought under controll

and we had arrived at destination safely. We never knew what happened.

Seasons

 

 The winter is coming ; I know in Calgary it's very cold .So, I planned to wear some warm clothes because I don't want to be cold. Then, I will stay most the time at home expect if I go to school . I also think I will have fun to do some the battles of snow and make some snowmen with my friends.

 My favourite season is the summer . I like it because the weather is warm ,and most people go on vacation. 

There are many activities to do such as: play beach volley or golf , go at the beach, take some pictures, organize some party at home or some barbecues .

As well, about some activities I would to like to do during in summer ; well I'd like to go in another country and see some things that I never seen before. I want go to the most beautiful beach , but the most important I want to spend  much time playing with my friends and my family.

Crime

In my opinion, Calgary is a beautiful and fairly safe city ; It's very comfortable. There are hardly any murders, or any crimes like that. Also, there is a good government. Police officers are available;  they keep an eye on the city.

You can even walk downtown at night, just stay where there are people and away from dark streets . However, I never heard about that but in Calgary can have different kinds of crimes as attempted murder, child abandonment , mugging , kidnapping , possession drugs. 

These offenders prefer to kill or hurt people just for fun . Moreover, they steal  because they don't have money or sometimes they have some psychic problems.

 I think, Calgary is more safer than my city .
There is corruptions and delinquency. Other crimes hurt things such as cars, houses. Some teenagers commit most of the crimes involving damage to things .

 Therefore,  if you don't want to be a victim of crime you had better follow these instructions: you should not get into a strange car with someone you don't know, you should not walk alone at night on the street. If you are the victim of a mugging , you shouldn't fight the mugger. You ought to give him all your money to avoid  that he kills or hurts you...

Finally , I think the crime is not a good thing because it can be dangerous for the innocent  victims. The government should have a lot of punishments for criminals or find a way to reduce the number of crimes.

Music day ( my favorite holiday)

The music festival, also known as World Music Day, is a music festival taking place every  June 21 from morning to evening (which coincides most often with the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere). It's celebrated in my country and hundreds of countries. The slogan is, "Make music! " 

 Day of Music is a great popular demonstration, free, open to all amateur and professional participants who wish to perform and available to everyone. It mixes all musical genres with the aim to popularize practice and familiarize youths and adults. It's an opportunity to talk about music. Musicians are invited to perform volunteer and all events are free to the public.

   

        Therefore we need to persuade us that here in Africa there is no reason to celebrate the music for the celebration but rather to take this opportunity to ask the real problems facing our artists and to find ways to improve their conditions work and life.

   During the festival some people wear clothes according to their kind of music they like. There are also different kinds of foods.
After that , there are festivals of dance,some little skits just for laughs,

and the presentation of some musical instruments. At the end,  there's a big concert where all  famous singers in my country come to sing.

         In summary,the music day is famous, it's a holiday  in almost every country in the world especially in Africa,  but I don't know if it is in canada too. People are very  happy and enjoy on it ....
